In Remembrance of Professor Aftab Qureshi

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ Professor Aftab Qureishi is no longer amongst us. The news of his death, while still in the captivity of his kidnappers, is devastating. Pakistan has lost yet another precious citizen and the medical fraternity, a valuable, hardworking & devoted colleague. One wonders how to come to terms with the loss of all these precious lives that are the result of thoughtless and cruel acts of violence. Prof Aftab was head and professor of Neurosurgery at Liaquat University hospital in Hyderabad Sind. He was known for his never-ending sincerity and hard work for his patients. Our thoughts and prayers are with Professor Aftab's family. May Allah give them the strength & patience to bear this huge, irreplaceable loss.
