Following gross total excision through laminectomy, the patient experienced marked neurological recovery. The authors highlight the necessity of complete surgical excision as the definitive treatment, particularly in cases with significant mass effect. Conclusion: The authors reinforce the need for meticulous preoperative planning and surgical technique, particularly in the presence of a thick, calcified cyst capsule that may complicate resection. The evolving strategies in managing cervical synovial cysts underscore the importance of early diagnosis and surgical precision to prevent long-term disability.
