However, reports about long-term follow-up are extremely rare. Case Description: In two patients, initial tumor resection was incomplete or followed by recurrences over 3 years, which finally subsided after application of chemotherapy, and patients remained tumor-free for more than 7 years thereafter. Conclusion: Up to now there is no agreement on how to treat complicated cases of intracranial Rosai–Dorfman disease; our good experience with adjuvant chemotherapy and long-term follow-up will contribute to treatment planning in complicated cases.","thumbnailUrl":"https://sni-digital-videos.s3.amazonaws.com/articles/d0198b2e-861f-41d4-a1c0-9d20bff6a75e/featured/hero-1782420811860.png","publishDate":"2014-02-28T00:00:00.000Z","doi":"10.4103/2152-7806.128003","categories":["Original Article"],"fullTextUrl":"https://surgicalneurologyint.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/3887/SNI-5-30.pdf"}
