The case involves a 75-year-old female patient who experienced syncope and was subsequently evaluated in the emergency room. Methods: Readers are invited to engage with the case by answering a series of questions related to diagnosis and management as the case unfolds. A survey link is provided for readers to submit their responses, and results will be shared in a subsequent issue. Results: The case illustrates the challenges faced by nursing staff in obtaining critical patient history and making timely clinical decisions. It highlights the potential consequences of communication gaps and the importance of thorough patient assessment. Conclusion: The discussion generated by these hypothetical cases aims to enhance the decision-making skills of neuroscience nurses and improve patient outcomes through collaborative learning and reflection on clinical practices.
