Cook","James I. Ausman"],"abstract":"Background: Since its inception in 2010, Surgical Neurology International (SNI) has published over 500 papers on diverse topics in neurosurgery. In addition to main articles, SNI offers quarterly supplements and various educational resources to enhance reader engagement. Methods: In January 2013, SNI introduced new features aimed at improving access to its growing database of scientific papers and educational materials. These features include enhanced search functions, access to supplements, and educational resources such as CNS Neurowiki and journal clubs. Results: The new search functions allow users to browse articles chronologically or by specialty, facilitating easier access to relevant content. Additionally, SNI articles can now be translated into 37 different languages, broadening accessibility for a global audience. Conclusion: The enhancements made to SNI in 2013 aim to improve user experience and accessibility to valuable neurosurgical information. These features are expected to support the educational needs of neurosurgeons worldwide.
