Delayed diagnosis commonly leads to a poor neurological prognosis, emphasizing the need for early diagnosis and treatment. Case Description: We report on two cases of spinal infection; one in a 5-year-old boy with a T8-11 epidural abscess and one in a 10-year-old boy with an L5-S1 epidural abscess. Both cases improved with conservative therapy. Conclusion: Early magnetic resonance imaging diagnosis and systemic treatment in collaboration with pediatricians are key factors in the successful management of children with spinal infections.","thumbnailUrl":"https://sni-digital-videos.s3.amazonaws.com/articles/a89ba1c9-f45c-4902-99fb-cccb9db5b642/featured/hero-1781562564223.png","publishDate":"2021-04-08T00:00:00.000Z","doi":"10.25259/SNI_908_2020","categories":["Pediatric Neurosurgery","Case Report"],"fullTextUrl":"https://surgicalneurologyint.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/10704/SNI-12-139.pdf"}
