It can be classified into monostotic and polyostotic types, with the latter involving multiple bones. Craniofacial involvement is common in polyostotic FD, affecting various skull and facial bones. Summary: A 30-year-old man presented with progressive blurred vision and cosmetic facial deformities due to polyostotic craniofacial fibrous dysplasia. Imaging studies revealed extensive involvement of the mandible, anterior skull base, and multiple cranial bones, with notable optic canal narrowing and nerve entrapment. The patient declined surgical intervention despite the significant impact on his visual acuity and facial structure. Conclusion: This case highlights the complex presentation of polyostotic craniofacial fibrous dysplasia and its potential complications, such as visual impairment and craniofacial deformities. Early diagnosis and management are crucial to prevent further neurological deficits and improve quality of life.
