Only about less than 70 cases have been reported till date. Case Description: Our case is a 40-year-old male patient who presented with complaints of progressive right upper and lower limb weakness for the past 6 months. Radiology revealed an intramedullary lesion at C5-C6 level with proximal and distal syrinx. The patient underwent gross total excision of the tumor. The histopathological findings were suggestive of spindle cell melanoma. Post-operative whole body positron emission tomography – computed tomography imaging, dermatological and ophthalmological evaluation ruled out any similar lesions elsewhere.
