Historical training has not emphasized programming, yet the landscape is changing rapidly, making these skills essential for future medical professionals. Methods: An open-access programming course for physicians will be offered starting January 2, consisting of 12 lessons that each take 30-60 minutes to complete. The course aims to provide fundamental programming knowledge tailored for medical practitioners. Results: The course is designed to introduce physicians to programming concepts and tools, enabling them to engage with data science. It encourages participants to explore the potential of programming in simplifying tasks and advancing research in their fields. Conclusion: By learning programming, physicians can enhance their capabilities in handling data, which is increasingly crucial in modern medicine. This initiative aims to demystify programming and encourage physicians to incorporate these skills into their practice.
