It builds upon the principles established in previous brain atlases, offering an interactive experience for users. Methods: The atlas combines 3D drawings with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) images, allowing users to explore the cerebral vasculature in detail. The 3D model was created from a 3T MRA time of flight scan and manually constructed by a vascular editor, co-registering it with corresponding MRI and MRA scans. Results: Users can interactively select specific vessels, view them in various planes, and access detailed anatomical information about each vessel. The atlas includes 100 images and 215 pages of text, along with a test mode for review and the ability to save images for later use. Conclusion: The Cerefy ® Atlas of Cerebral Vasculature is a user-friendly and innovative educational tool that significantly enhances the study of cerebral vasculature. Its 3D visualization capabilities provide a superior understanding of vascular relationships compared to traditional 2D atlases.
