Responses were collected from members of the Editorial Board and are categorized by country of residence, highlighting diverse issues impacting the medical field globally. Methods: The study utilized a qualitative approach, gathering responses from various neuroscientists across different countries. Participants were asked to identify three significant changes or challenges affecting their lives and practices as medical professionals. Results: Common themes emerged from the responses, including the centralization of medical control by governments and organizations, economic deterioration, and ethical concerns within the medical profession. Variations in responses reflected regional differences, such as the impact of political instability in the Middle East and economic issues in Japan and the Philippines. Conclusion: The findings indicate that while challenges in the medical field are universal, their manifestations vary significantly by region. The responses underscore the need for ongoing dialogue and adaptation within the medical community to address these evolving challenges.
